At Lee & Low Books, we are very excited to partner with Long Beach USD through custom English and Spanish collections thoughtfully curated to provide your students access to authentic, culturally responsive, and contemporary books while also meeting their academic and social-emotional needs.
- English Joy Collections: diverse books that reflect the daily lives of children through the joy of play, family, and friends, and just being themselves! Each title has grade-appropriate content that will provide read-aloud opportunities as well as independent enjoyment.
- Spanish Collections: authentic Spanish titles that will supplement your small and large group instruction as well as independent reading. Each set covers a different range of reading levels: TK-1 (A through H), 2-3 (I through O), and 4-5 (P through U).
Every single title included in these collections has a Teacher Guide/Lesson Plan (Example: The Electric Slide and Kai), as well as their own website in which you can find a preview, information about author/illustrator, awards, and related collections/blog posts. These free resources are available on our website, allowing access to everyone in your community.
All 6 collections below cost $500.00 each, including shipping and sales tax for Long Beach, CA (10.25%). There are no duplicate titles across these collections.
