GLA ALA & OC-ALA
Present a Joint Chapter Community Connections Book Drive
To celebrate GLA ALA’s commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Accessibility (DEIA), GLA ALA and OC-ALA entered into a special collaboration with Lee & Low Books. The purpose of this collaboration is to provide books to schools and nonprofits with themes that focus on race, religion, culture, gender, and all the other things that make our country, companies and associations wonderfully diverse. These books are tailored for children in grades K through 5; our intent is to provide these young readers and leaders with characters who look like them, and themes that resonate with them.
With your help, we will be able to donate these special books to the migrant children at the Long Beach Convention Center transitional housing.
If you wish to contribute to this book drive, please follow the payment link below.
This book drive will be active through Friday, May 21, 2021.
Thank you for your generosity!
Please note that contributions are not tax-deductible.
